Wismar Day 6

Wismar Day 6

I went to the OR today. OA HA was operating. Damn… he’s good at it. And he’s also nice to me. He’s also not from Germany, just like me and the CÄ. They both get me so well…

So I remained in the OR for the rest of the day…

FÄ KA gave me a second chance today. I guess she noticed I only wanted to learn and she even put in a good word for me with the nurses. And she smiled as I passed her by. Wow. She smiled at me. Hmm… I don’t think that people here realize how much that means for me. A smile. Or to hear my name. Or at least the short version of my name, cause the whole thing is just too complicated for them to pronounce. I feel like crying a little. She smiled at me. Ughhh I have to be stronger. And braver…

I don’t think eating aioli was such a great idea. Praise the Lord for the mask I’m wearing. Jeez… 🙂 thank you, VIP…

I have now received my keys. I am no longer a homeless duckling in this hospital. I am just duckling. But my beloved CÄ is no longer around… heeeey… where’d you go? Duckling misses you!!

Then I went to this traditional restaurant called To’n Zägenkrog. A man approached me… he had a cute doggy. “Hello!” … “Hello!” He asked where I come from and what I was doing here… we ended up chatting a bit. He knew Romania pretty well. He studied Medicine in Amsterdam and was now working for some sort of organisation that fights corruption and such things… he spoke a little about economy… that was too much for me to handle. He then said they have a congress of some sort in Romania… sometime in spring. And he invited me to come. Such a small world.
